What you will do

  • Deliver expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals related to attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health advice requests.
  • Provide professional, comprehensive, and evidence-based written reports.
  • Offer expert advice on legislative requirements and best practices related to occupational health.
  • Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance in line with best practice requirements and our company's policies and protocols.
  • Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance, communicating the appropriate advice on fitness and escalating as needed.
  • Maintain a current and valid NMC registration, adhering to professional guidelines on clinical supervision and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, and Fitness for Role Assessment.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Part 1.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Meticulous written communication skills and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of personal competencies, practice limits, and when to seek support to ensure safe practices.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles in occupational health.
  • Experience in delivering case management and occupational health advice is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, and Fitness for Role Assessment.
