What you will do:
- Provide high quality, effective physiotherapy assessments and short-term treatment/management programmes for adults presenting with stroke and various neurological conditions, requiring a community-based service
- Utilise specialist physiotherapy knowledge and skills to manage your own complex caseload as an autonomous practitioner
- Participate and engage in complex clinical discussion meetings regarding service users
- Offer management and support to junior staff
- Maintain essential IT skills to collect and input data and contribute to SSNAP audits
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Qualified physiotherapist with a Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy
- HCPC registration as a physiotherapist to work in the UK
- NHS experience is advantageous but not essential
- Specialist knowledge and skills in rehabilitation of stroke and neuro patients are needed
