Locum Dietitian Position Available in Inverness
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian specialising in General Medical and Surgical care in Inverness, UK. This full-time, 36 hours per week position offers a competitive hourly rate of £32.37 for a six-month contract. If you have 18-24 months of NHS Dietetic experience and expertise in areas such as Parenteral Nutrition, Respiratory, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology, this could be the perfect role for you. You will manage both Inpatient caseloads and Outpatient clinics across a range of disciplines.

What you will do:
- Assess and manage the nutritional needs of patients within General Medical and Surgical wards.
- Provide specialist dietary advice for conditions requiring Parenteral Nutrition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Respiratory, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology disciplines.
- Conduct Outpatient clinics to support patient recovery and dietary management.
- Deliver high-quality, personalised dietary interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation and reports.
Requirements of the Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Dietetics.
- Recent UK experience working as a Dietitian.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.
- Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy in complex conditions.
