An ambitious and highly respected secondary school in Brent is seeking an exceptional Graduate Pastoral Year Leader to join its pastoral team from September.

Your Responsibilities

As a Graduate Pastoral Year Leader, you will:

• Support the Head of Year with the day-to-day pastoral care of a designated year group.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and external agencies.
• Mentor students on a one-to-one basis, promoting confidence, resilience and positive behaviour.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and student wellbeing.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support students facing academic or personal challenges.
• Work closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals and safeguarding leads.
• Help organise assemblies, enrichment activities and rewards programmes.
• Become a trusted adult who students can rely on throughout the school year.
