General Manager – Branded Hotel in Central London

Salary: up to £55,000

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on hospitality leader who can take ownership of the hotel's day-to-day operations, inspire a team and deliver an exceptional guest experience within a recognised hotel brand.

As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful operation of the hotel, ensuring high standards across all departments whilst driving guest satisfaction, team engagement and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
• Leading, motivating and developing the team, creating a positive and performance-driven culture.
• Driving guest satisfaction and ensuring consistently high standards of service.
• Taking ownership of the hotel's financial performance, including budgets, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Ensuring brand standards, company procedures and compliance requirements are consistently maintained.
• Building strong relationships with guests, colleagues and key stakeholders.
• Taking a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or Deputy General Manager within a branded hotel environment.
• A strong understanding of hotel operations and the ability to lead across multiple departments.
• Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, controlling costs and driving profitability.
• A natural people leader who can inspire, develop and engage a diverse team.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced London hotel environment.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
