What you will do:
- Support the Team Manager and a skilled group of 8-10 social workers, all with varied experience levels.
- Chair meetings and assist the team manager in decision making, fostering collaboration with partners such as Police, Health, and Education.
- Advocate for young people, ensuring they access the services they need and receive consistent, high-quality social care.
- Provide supervision and effective support through recruitment, induction, training, and career development of team members.
- Champion a high-performance culture and oversee all legal proceedings and frameworks, focusing on Public Law Outline and Court Work.
- Actively work in risk analysis and management, supporting impactful long-term changes and improvements in children’s social care.
- Embrace the role of a Practice Educator, nurturing the next generation of social care professionals.
