We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager who thrives in a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical responsibilities on the floor with key managerial duties. An active NMC registration (PIN) is preferred for this role.
This Deputy Manager position benefits from:
- Competitive pay: £23–£26 per hour (£47,840–£54,080 per annum)
- 40 hours per week
- Up to 3 days on the floor and up to 2 days in a managerial capacity

As Deputy Manager, your duties will include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursing home
- Upholding high standards of resident care, safety, and wellbeing
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures
- Leading, motivating, and supporting the nursing and care teams
- Acting as a role model on the floor, providing clinical leadership and guidance
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Skills and experience essential to the role of Deputy Manager:
- Active NMC registration (RGN/RMN) preferred
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or senior nursing role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding elderly care
This position is based in the Solihull area, and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Kings Heath, Hall Green, Selly Oak, and surrounding areas.
