The home has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is led by a highly experienced and supportive Home Manager who is keen to nurture, develop, and mentor their Deputy. As part of a small, close-knit group of homes, this is a role where your contribution will truly make a difference.
You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team who consistently support one another to deliver the very highest standard of resident-centred care.
This role offers a balanced working week, typically consisting of:
- 2 days providing hands-on nursing care (12-hour shifts)
- 2 supernumerary days focused on Deputy Manager responsibilities, working either 9am–5pm or 8am–4pm
An active NMC registration (PIN) is essential as is Leadership experience within a Nursing Home experience.

Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards of care, comfort, and safety are maintained at all times
- Support compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, encouraging professional development and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
- Assist with the effective management of budgets, resources, and service development
Essential skills and experience:
- Active NMC registration
- Proven leadership experience within a nursing home setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical knowledge and confident decision-making ability
- Experience contributing to budget, resource, and service management
This role is based in the wider Kidderminster area and is easily commutable from Stourport, Hagley, Tenbury Wells, Bromsgrove, and across the West Midlands. Due to the rural location, applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle.
