Clinical Lead in Wolverhampton, West Midlands

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a small, friendly nursing home in the Wolverhampton area specialising in dementia care. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs, working in an amazing supportive team. 

You will be supported by a hands-on, enthusiastic management team who genuinely invest in staff development. An active NMC registration (PIN) is essential.

As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the clinical team with supervision, guidance, and clinical expertise
• Ensuring safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care for residents with dementia
• Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and promoting continuous improvement
• Monitoring clinical performance, completing audits, and implementing action plans
• Liaising effectively with MDT professionals, families, external agencies, and stakeholders
• Supporting the Registered Manager during inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management
• Supporting recruitment, induction, supervisions, and staff appraisal processes
• Delivering clinical training and competency assessments for nursing and care staff
• Assisting with rota management, task delegation, and day-to-day staffing support
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with GDPR and NMC standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Current NMC registration (active PIN)
• Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role
• Previous experience of leading and/or mentoring a team
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, dementia care best practice, and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in audits, quality assurance, and risk management

This role is based in Wolverhampton and is easily commutable from Bilston, Wednesfield, Penn, Willenhall, and surrounding areas across the West Midlands.
