Clinical Lead in Halesowen, West Midlands

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s large, well-established independent nursing home in the Halesowen area, proudly rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the clinical team, offering guidance, supervision, and clinical expertise
• Ensuring safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for all residents
• Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and promoting continuous improvement
• Monitoring clinical performance, conducting audits, and implementing action plans
• Liaising effectively with MDT professionals, external agencies, families, and stakeholders
• Supporting the Registered Manager during inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management
• Supporting recruitment, induction, clinical supervisions, and staff appraisals
• Delivering clinical training and competency assessments for nursing and care staff
• Managing rotas, delegating tasks appropriately, and resolving staffing challenges
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with GDPR and NMC standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Current NMC registration (active PIN)
• Proven experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, legislation, and clinical best practice
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in audits, quality assurance, and risk management.
