Clinical Lead in Halesowen, West Midlands

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s large, well-established independent nursing home in the Halesowen area, proudly rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. This role is due to start in January 2026, offering an exciting opportunity to oversee high-quality clinical care within a supportive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment.

As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the clinical team, offering guidance, supervision, and clinical expertise
- Ensuring safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for all residents
- Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and promoting continuous improvement
- Monitoring clinical performance, conducting audits, and implementing action plans
- Liaising effectively with MDT professionals, external agencies, families, and stakeholders
- Supporting the Registered Manager during inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management
- Supporting recruitment, induction, clinical supervisions, and staff appraisals
- Delivering clinical training and competency assessments for nursing and care staff
- Managing rotas, delegating tasks appropriately, and resolving staffing challenges
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with GDPR and NMC standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- Current NMC registration (active PIN)
- Proven experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, legislation, and clinical best practice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in audits, quality assurance, and risk management.
