We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s beautiful nursing home and oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care across their setting in the heart of Birmingham. As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the clinical team, providing guidance, supervision, and clinical expertise.
• Ensuring safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care is delivered to all service users.
• Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Monitoring clinical performance and outcomes, conducting regular audits and implementing action plans where necessary.
• Liaising effectively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting the Registered Manager in regulatory inspections and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management within the service.
• Assisting with recruitment, induction, and development of clinical staff, including conducting clinical supervisions and appraisals.
• Developing and delivering clinical training and competency assessments for nursing and care teams.
• Managing rotas, delegating clinical tasks appropriately, and supporting in resolving staffing challenges.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards.

Required Skills & Experience for this Clinical Lead Role:

• Current NMC registration (Active NMC pin).
• Proven leadership experience in a clinical or senior nursing role
• Strong knowledge of current clinical practices, legislation, and CQC regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in clinical audit, quality assurance, and risk management.

As a Clinical Lead you will be at the heart of the clinical care team, ensuring the resident’s needs, wellbeing and dignity are maintained to a high standard at all times.
