We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s welcoming nursing home, part of a small, reputable group proudly operating across the Solihull area. Known for delivering compassionate, person-centred care and maintaining strong CQC compliance, this home offers a supportive and friendly environment where high-quality clinical practice is truly valued. As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the clinical team with supervision, guidance, and clinical expertise.
- Ensuring safe, person-centred, evidence-based care for all residents
- Monitoring clinical performance, completing audits, and driving action plans
- Liaising effectively with MDT professionals, families, external agencies, and stakeholders
- Supporting the Registered Manager during inspections and maintaining compliance with CQC standards
- Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management
- Supporting recruitment, induction, supervisions, and staff appraisal processes
- Providing clinical training and competency assessments for the nursing and care team
- Assisting with rota management, task delegation, and day-to-day staffing support
- Ensuring accurate, compliant clinical documentation in line with GDPR and NMC requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Current NMC registration (active PIN)
- Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership position
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, legislation, and clinical best practice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in audits, quality assurance, and clinical governance.
As Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in overseeing high-quality care, supporting both residents and staff, and ensuring clinical standards remain consistently excellent.
This role is based in Solihull and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Shirley, Knowle, Dorridge, Hall Green, Olton, and surrounding areas across the West Midlands.
