Business Development Manager – Fast Growing B-Corp FMCG Business – London - £50K + Commission

My client is a fast-growing non-food FMCG B-Corp business who have a great reputation.

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning new business, maximising sustainable short- and long-term sales, boost profitability and increase brand awareness within new sectors, including the B2B HoReCa channels

This is an exciting position perfect for ambitious Business Development Managers to join a growing business who can offer genuine career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across B2B and B2C channels.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key buyers, distributors, and commercial partners
  • Deliver against revenue and growth targets while maintaining strong margin performance
  • Build compelling commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support customer activation and promotional planning
  • Own account plans and pipeline reporting, providing clear commercial forecasting
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
  • Champion their sustainability and B-Corp commitments in customer conversations

The Ideal Business Development Manager Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality, wholesale and retail channels; network of HoReCa channel clients is a bonus.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
