What you will do
- Provide expert clinical leadership within the Kingston Liaison Psychiatry Service.
- Conduct and supervise complex biopsychosocial assessments in the Emergency Department and acute hospital wards.
- Offer specialist advice on risk management and treatment planning for complex cases.
- Support staff in managing presentations including acute mental illness, self-harm, and behavioural issues.
- Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure safe service provision.
- Monitor service demands and implement escalation processes as necessary.
- Collaborate with hospital teams to streamline patient flow and enhance service efficiency.
- Lead initiatives for service improvement and transformation.
- Foster partnerships with various stakeholders to promote integrated care pathways.
