Working within a highly regarded, efficient and caring service, you will be one part of two care-experienced teams consisting of two Team Managers, 10 Personal Advisors, and additional bespoke roles. You will be based at the MarketPlace alongside colleagues specialising in children cared for, Kinship, Fostering, Virtual School and Participation. As part of a wider management system, your role will proactively further develop the service, including partnerships and networks, carrying out effective external sector engagement. You will oversee the delivery of service provision, working closely with partners to meet statutory duties and South Tyneside Council’s outcomes for young people in care and leaving care.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage a team effectively to provide outstanding support for young people leaving care, ensuring they receive the best guidance possible.
• Develop and maintain partnerships and networks with external agencies to foster collaborations and enhance service delivery.
• Oversee statutory duties and ensure compliance with relevant legal frameworks and welfare systems.
• Support and empower your team by navigating complex situations, acting as a guiding force through welfare and legal processes.
• Collaborate and innovate within the management system to further develop the service and enhance outcomes for care-experienced individuals.
