What you will do:

• Provide clinical management and treatment for adult patients with acquired swallowing and communication disorders stemming from a stroke.
• Conduct domiciliary visits, assessing and treating patients in their homes to maximise their convenience and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to optimise patient care.
• Complete thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Liaise with family members and caregivers, offering guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• You must be HCPC registered to apply for this role.
• A valid driving licence is essential for carrying out domiciliary visits efficiently and effectively.
• Qualified speech and language therapist with experience in managing adults with acquired disorders due to stroke, ideally within a community setting.
