We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join a Highly Specialist Children's Team in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time locum position with working hours from 08:00 to 16:00 or 08:30 to 16:30, starting ASAP and running until 08/11/2026. This role pays up to £31 per hour, providing a fantastic opportunity to work with children in need of specialised care. As a highly specialist physiotherapist, you will be integral to the support and development of children with complex needs.

What you will do:

- Manage paediatric inpatient wards, ensuring high standards of care and treatment are delivered to young patients.
- Oversee a neurodisability outpatient caseload, providing specialised assessments and interventions tailored to each child's needs.
- Complete complex physiotherapy assessments to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Undertake CPIP assessments and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review customised treatment programmes for children.
- Order and review specialist equipment to ensure each child has access to the best resources for their development.
- Conduct annual EHCP reviews, write detailed reports, and provide recommendations for EHCP plans.
- Actively liaise with families, carers, and education providers to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate clinical records and crucial documentation.

With requirements that include HCPC registration, experience in paediatric wards, and expertise in managing complex neurodisability cases, this position is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in children's physiotherapy. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are necessary, and experience in community paediatric settings is desirable.
