This role offers up to £31 per hour for a three-month contract beginning as soon as possible and ending on 8th November 2026. What you will do:
- Manage the paediatric inpatient ward caseload and deliver comprehensive assessments and treatments for children and young people.
- Handle a neurodisability outpatient caseload, conduct CPIP assessments, and develop and review physiotherapy programmes.
- Order, review, and monitor specialist equipment, complete annual reviews for EHCPs, and contribute to EHCP assessments and recommendations.
- Liaise with families, carers, education providers, and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, be a HCPC registered Physiotherapist with specialist experience in children's physiotherapy, paediatric ward, and neurodisability conditions. Conducting complex paediatric assessments, CPIP assessments, and developing and reviewing treatment programmes are vital. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are essential. Community paediatric physiotherapy experience and familiarity with neurodevelopmental conditions are desirable.
