Calling all seasoned Cardiac Physiologists! A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist to join the dynamic physiotherapy team in West Bromwich, West Midlands. If you are ready to bring your expertise to a thriving community, this role offers up to £31.00 per hour on an hourly, full-time basis for a period of 6 to 12 months. What you will do:

• Execute Cardiac Catheter Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participate actively in the PPCI on-call services.
• Undertake pacemaker implantation and follow-up clinics.
• Conduct implantation and follow-up clinics for ICD and CRT-P/D devices.
• Carry out both face-to-face and remote device follow-up clinics.
• Perform Implantable Loop Recorder follow-ups.
• Lead Tilt Table Tests and Exercise Tolerance Tests.
• Analyse and interpret Ambulatory Holter monitoring data.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff members.
• Collaborate with the wider Cardiac Physiology team.
• Maintain meticulously accurate clinical records and reports.

Additional Information:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6-12 Months
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 or 08:00-18:00 across 4 days
• Rota dependent site allocation
• PPCI on-call participation required
• Band 7 level role

Requirements:

• BHRS accreditation.
• Experience in NHS Cardiac Physiology, particularly within Cardiac Catheter Labs.
• Proficiency with pacemakers, ICD, and CRT-P/D devices, along with experience in monitoring systems and supervising junior personnel.
