What you will do

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Prepare patients and equipment for seamless procedure operations.
• Operate imaging equipment during interventions to provide essential diagnostic information.
• Maintain radiation safety standards, protecting patients and staff alike.
• Support multidisciplinary teams during interventional procedures, contributing your unique skills and insights.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with departmental protocols to uphold the highest standards of care.

Requirements

• HCPC registration.
• A qualification in diagnostic radiography.
• Experience in interventional radiography.
• NHS experience.
• Knowledge of radiation protection regulations.
• The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous Band 6 Interventional Radiography experience.
• Acute hospital experience.
• Experience within specialist interventional services.
