What you will do:

• Undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

• Manage a defined caseload of service users with complex needs, promoting recovery and independence.

• Deliver Occupational Therapy treatment programmes tailored to individual needs.

• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to contribute to care planning and risk management.

• Supervise junior staff, support workers, and students, fostering a culture of learning and development.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

• Participate in service development and quality improvement activities, driving positive change.

• Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice and support, advocating for best practices in mental health and learning disabilities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.

• Proven experience in mental health and learning disability settings.

• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to manage an autonomous caseload.

• Postgraduate training and an up-to-date CPD portfolio reflecting your commitment to professional development.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in leadership and management.

• Experience in forensic settings.

• Sensory integration experience.

• Experience in service development.
