An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist (SALT) to join an established adult in-patient service in Ealing. This full-time locum role offers an immediate start, an ongoing contract, and a competitive hourly rate of £26.00.

You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to adult in-patients, with a particular focus on dysphagia management. What you will do

  • Independently manage adult in-patient dysphagia caseloads, demonstrating advanced clinical expertise.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised speech and language therapy interventions.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation.

  • Provide advice, education, and training to patients, carers, and ward staff as appropriate.

  • Contribute to service delivery, quality improvement, and best clinical practice within the department.


Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist is essential.

  • Minimum two years’ post-qualification experience in speech & language therapy.

  • Proven experience managing adult dysphagia cases.

  • Car driver preferred but not essential, depending on service needs.
