What you will do:

• Be part of a large multi-disciplinary team where you will collaborate closely with both educational and residential colleagues to create a therapeutic learning and living environment.

• Conduct clinical assessments and build personalised interventions to effectively support the mental health needs of our young people.

• Foster and build rapport with our young people, to provide impactful counselling and ensure progress in their development.

• Lead and execute speech therapy strategies while also guiding colleagues on the best practices for supporting our students.

• Engage with children and young people exhibiting complex needs to provide specialist therapeutic interventions.

• Help create clinically informed environments for our pupils by supporting the teams around them.

Here’s a few things we’ll need from you:

• You’ll be a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with the HCPC.

• Bring proven skills and experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.

• Experience in cultivating clinically informed living and learning experiences is essential.

• Exhibit confidence, engagement, and effectiveness as a model, guide, leader, and trainer.

• Maintain exceptional organisational capabilities and take initiative to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
