As a specialist pharmacy technician, you will play a crucial role at the Princess of Wales Hospital on Welney Ward, contributing to various clinical pharmacy services including elderly, rehabilitation, stroke, and palliative care.

What you will do:

- Maintain day-to-day pharmacy technician services, ensuring the smooth provision of clinical pharmacy services.
- Undertake medicines reconciliation and assess patients’ own medicines upon admission.
- Document issues accurately within electronic patient record systems.
- Order and manage medicines for patients and ward stock.
- Attend weekly MDT meetings to support patient care and discharge preparation.
- Assist patients and nursing staff with self-administration of medicines to promote rehabilitation and independence.
- Liaise with community pharmacies for admission and discharge support when necessary.
- Provide pharmacy technician support to CPFT bases in Cambridge.

Requirements:

- HCPC registered.
- Minimum of two years of experience.
- A car driver is preferable to facilitate easy transport between facilities.
