What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive cell pathology laboratory services to support accurate diagnosis and treatment

• Perform analytical investigations, ensuring the validity and accuracy of all test results

• Liaise with clinical and laboratory staff to act promptly on abnormal or urgent findings

• Work as a lone front-line practitioner during unsocial hours, taking responsibility for first-line communications and decisions

• Ensure all work is completed in line with current laboratory standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist

• Minimum of two years’ experience in cell pathology

• Proven ability to work accurately in a high-volume laboratory environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Flexibility to work independently when required

Applicants must be HCPC registered with demonstrable experience in cell pathology. A valid UK driving licence is desirable to support flexibility across locum assignments.
