Dentist

We are recruiting for a Dentist to join a well-established mixed NHS and Private dental practice in Derby. This locum to permanent opportunity is available for 1 day per week, offering £400 per day during the locum period before moving to a permanent position with excellent NHS and private earning potential. This role is ideal for a Dentist completing foundation training or a Dentist looking for a stable position with flexibility and strong clinical support.

Please note: We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship. UK-based experience is essential for this role.

Working with Flourish Medical as a Dentist offers you:

• £400 per day during the locum period

• Opportunity to secure a permanent position

• £14 per UDA on a permanent contract

• 50% private income

• Working 1 day per week

• Practice hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm

• Stable and long-standing predominantly NHS patient list

Required Skills & Experience for this Dentist:

• GDC registered Dentist

• NHS Performer Number

• Proven UK clinical experience

• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one

• Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care

Suitable for Associate Dentist, General Dentist and/or NHS Dentist.

As a Dentist, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering high-quality NHS and private dental treatments

• Providing excellent patient care and communication

• Managing and maintaining a consistent clinical diary

• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records

• Working collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider practice team

• Adhering to NHS guidelines, CQC standards and clinical governance

The practice is located in Derby and is easily commutable from Littleover, Mickleover, Allestree, Chaddesden, Spondon and Borrowash, with excellent transport links across the surrounding area.
