What you will do:
- Manage a diverse and complex caseload, undertaking assessments, care planning, and interventions.
- Assess and manage risk, making informed, evidence-based decisions, and contributing to safeguarding and court proceedings.
- Apply legislation, policies, and best practices to deliver effective, child-focused services.
- Build strong, effective relationships with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
- Use a range of interventions and review outcomes, adapting plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports, including court documentation.
- Undertake preventative work to reduce risk and support families.
- Contribute to multi-agency working and continuous service improvement.
Experience & Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker/Senior Social Worker with relevant professional registration and commitment to continual professional development (CPD).
- Experience working with children and families, including safeguarding, assessment, and care planning.
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks in children’s social care.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
