What you will do

  • Case Management: Manage a complex caseload including Child Protection Plans, PLO work, and care proceedings.
  • Advanced Assessment: Undertake detailed, evidence-based assessments and develop intervention plans.
  • Safeguarding Leadership: Lead on high-risk cases involving exploitation, domestic abuse, neglect, and multiple vulnerabilities.
  • Practice Support: Provide guidance, mentoring, and consultation to colleagues.
  • Child-Focused Practice: Ensure children’s voices, wishes, and lived experiences are central to all work.
  • Court Work: Prepare high-quality reports, statements, and documentation for legal proceedings.
  • Multi-Agency Working: Build effective partnerships with professionals across services to deliver coordinated safeguarding responses.
  • Quality Assurance: Support audits, service improvement, and the development of best practice within the team.
