Key Responsibilities

• Prepare freshly cooked meals and ensure nutritional needs are met.

• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and running errands to maintain a safe and organised home environment.

• Accompany the individual to appointments, supporting mobility and personal care needs.

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and oral hygiene.

• Support continence management and provide care for catheter, colostomy, and ileostomy needs.

• Administer or remind clients of their medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens.

• Assist with mobility, including hoisting and safe movement around the home.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a care role or Health Care Assistant position is desirable.

• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to individuals with varying needs.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently while adhering to care plans and health and safety procedures.

• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive approach to supporting clients.
