What you will do:
- Conduct assessments to determine the suitability of Special Guardianship Orders for children and young people.
- Provide expert advice and support to families and foster carers navigating the SGO process.
- Liaise with social service agencies, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support plans.
- Prepare detailed reports and documents for court proceedings and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies, maintaining the highest standards of practice.

Requirements of the SGO Senior Practitioner:
- A degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Extensive frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker.
