About the Role
The London Borough of Hillingdon has an exceptional opportunity for a proactive Educational Psychologist to join its Educational Psychology Service. You will apply your psychological expertise to enhance the learning, social, and emotional development of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and design interventions tailored to the educational and developmental needs of children and young people.

Provide consultation, guidance, and training to schools and families, promoting inclusive and supportive educational practices.

Advocate for inclusive policies within educational settings to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Maintain accurate and confidential records, producing detailed reports in line with statutory requirements.

Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the ongoing planning and development of the educational psychology service.

Engage in professional supervision and reflective practice to ensure ongoing professional growth.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience:

Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or recognised equivalent).

Experience in educational or psychological settings working with children and young people.

Strong understanding of statutory frameworks and guidance relating to children's services in England.
Skills & Competencies:

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
