We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to join our Children & Families Cotswolds Team. You will bring safeguarding experience to lead, manage, and be accountable for a team of Social Workers. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of statutory duties and service improvements for children, young people, and families. Your expertise in court work, Child Protection (CP), Children in Need (CIN), and Children in Care (CIC) is vital.
What you will do:
- Ensure that all statutory duties are fulfilled and that services improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Lead and manage a team of Social Workers, providing supervision and ensuring quality assurance in all processes.
- Develop and maintain strong team cohesion, particularly in the early stages of employment.
- Work closely with families, children, and courts to deliver focused and effective social work interventions.
- Encourage innovative and effective practice within the team, keeping up to date with relevant legislation and policies.
