Seven Resourcing is seeking a Housing Management Officer to work in Southampton. This role offers an exciting October start for an initial period of 3 months. The position pays £23.70 per hour through an umbrella company and £18.72 via PAYE, requiring 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. What you will do:
- Build and maintain positive landlord/tenant relationships, ensuring compliance with the tenancy agreement.
- Manage the Council’s housing management system effectively, using customer services as a tool for managing case work.
- Address and manage anti-social behaviour issues by coordinating with the Safer Communities Team and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct casework, liaise with the Police, collaborate with the Concierge Service, and engage with the Neighbourhood Wardens to mitigate ASB.
- Support vulnerable residents by facilitating appropriate support services.
- Handle Introductory Tenancies, particularly in relation to ASB cases.
- Prioritise safeguarding issues by making direct referrals to the MASH or Adult Safeguarding Team as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the Income Officer for the area to ensure cohesive visits and service delivery.
