What you will do:

- Supervise social work staff and manage their caseloads, ensuring high standards of care and effective workload distribution.
- Lead the delivery of social care services, including Care Act eligibility, personal budgets, and section 117 aftercare under the Mental Health Act.
- Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, investigating and reporting safeguarding concerns.
- Promote recovery and self-care, working collaboratively with individuals, families, and carers to support their journeys.
- Chair clinical and team meetings as needed, fostering a cohesive and effective team dynamic.
- Maintain a small caseload, engaging in clinical social work activities and practising as an AMHP.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments via street outreach, day centres, and hostels, ensuring appropriate referrals and interventions.
- Lead on hospital discharge planning and long-term service management, working closely with health colleagues for seamless transitions.
- Participate in the team's duty system to provide immediate support and intervention when required.
