Social Worker - Early Adulthood Team - Stockport - £30 per hour - Ongoing Contract
This is an exhilarating opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Early Adulthood Team in Stockport, where you will earn £30 per hour on an ongoing contract. What you will do:
- Assist young people aged 14 and over in developing skills and independence necessary for their future adult lives.
- Conduct assessments of young people and adults under The Care Act to tailor bespoke support plans.
- Provide comprehensive assessment, support planning, monitoring, and reviews both face-to-face and over the phone, ensuring that vulnerable people are safeguarded and risks are managed.
- Collaborate with individuals and carers to identify personal outcomes and work in tandem with them to achieve these goals using a strengths-based approach.
- Conduct annual reviews to continually meet the developmental needs of clients.
- Participate in a duty rota to guarantee consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving lives.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Must have current registration with Social Work England.
- Possess significant frontline experience within UK Social Services working as a qualified Social Worker.
