What You Will Do:
- Undertake ongoing assessments and interventions with children and families within the Children Looked After Service.
- Progress children's plans and ensure they access the right level of services.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure that the child's voice is integral to case planning.
- Visit and work with families, assessing and re-assessing the needs of children in local authority care.
- Act as Case Manager, coordinating review meetings, and as a Key Worker in cases with a CLA Plan.
- Provide and contribute to Child & Family Assessments, developing ways to identify and support children in need.
- Offer information and advice to families to help resolve issues effectively.
- Liaise with other agencies to organize resources and arrange specialized assistance.
- Carry out statutory duties as authorized by senior officers and present evidence and reports to courts when necessary.
- Participate in the team’s Duty system and maintain comprehensive records according to CLA requirements.
