Children & Families Social Worker – Inverness
Location: Inverness
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: Up to £42 per hour

Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join a dynamic team in Inverness. This is a full-time, temporary position offering up to £42 per hour.

In this role, you will champion high standards of professional social work practice, ensuring children receive the highest quality of care. You will bring a strong understanding of children and families’ regulations and the legal options available, while working collaboratively across the Inverness area.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:

• Champion best practice in social work and support positive outcomes for children and families.
• Apply children and families regulations and legislation when assessing and supporting cases.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
• Manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Undertake visits, assessments, and reports in line with statutory requirements.

Applicant Requirements:

• We don’t offer sponsorship; must be able to work full-time hours.
• Social Work qualification (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
• Registration with SSSC.
• Completed ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within children and families services.
• Previous fostering experience or transferrable skills from a relevant role.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work across the Inverness area as required.
