Pharmacy Technician - Prison Cleared – HMP Humber, Everthorpe – Earn £25 per hour on weekdays and £27 per hour on weekends. We offer an ongoing contract where you will work 37.5 hours per week, with shift times from 07:30 to 20:30 including unpaid breaks. What you will do:
- Conduct clinics and triage to support routine and urgent patient needs
- Respond to and attend emergency calls with efficiency and professionalism
- Administer medication accurately while adhering to pharmacy protocols
- Work collaboratively within the primary care team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services
- Perform duties in line with the role of a Band 5 nurse, ensuring a seamless healthcare service within the facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting clinics and triage to maintain and improve patient health
- Responding to and attending emergency calls, ensuring prompt and effective care
- Managing medication administration and pharmacy tasks
- Fulfilling additional responsibilities typical for a Band 5 nurse
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
To thrive in this position, you must be prison-cleared, hold a GPHC registration, have prior experience within a UK-based pharmacy setting, and possess an NVQ or equivalent Pharmacy Technician qualification. It is essential to have experience as a nurse or pharmacy technician, validated ILS or BLS certification, and up-to-date MAST training. This role falls under IR35 regulations and offers an immediate start, with the possibility of extending the initial four-week assignment.
