What You Will Do:
- Manage and motivate a team of social workers and review officers to ensure performance standards and outcomes are met.
- Set priorities and allocate work to deliver effective and efficient services to service users and stakeholders.
- Implement service innovations and improvements while ensuring quality and efficiency in operations.
- Provide guidance, support, and management for complex cases, maintaining high levels of expertise in accordance with best practice.
- Ensure all staff are trained and aware of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for financial management, maintaining control over budgets, equipment, and resources.

- Respond to Member enquiries and service user feedback promptly, ensuring complaints are handled appropriately.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners, fostering effective joint working practices to improve service outcomes.
- Promote diversity and equality, undertaking Equality Impact Assessments and addressing any instance of discrimination.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations, undertaking duties with attention to Data Protection legislation.
- Keep abreast of new legislation and initiatives, ensuring relevant information is disseminated to the team.
