Social Worker – Fostering Team
Location: Exeter
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £36 per hour

Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Team in Exeter. This is a full-time, temporary position offering £36 per hour.

In this role, you will champion high standards of professional social work practice, ensuring children receive the highest quality of care. You will bring a strong understanding of fostering regulations and the legal options available to children placed within their networks, while working collaboratively across the South Fostering area.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker

• Champion best practice in social work and support positive outcomes for children and families.
• Apply fostering regulations and legislation when assessing and supporting placements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
• Manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Undertake visits, assessments, and reports in line with statutory requirements.

Applicant Requirements

• We don't offer sponsorship, must be able to work full-time hours
• Social Work qualification (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Completed ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within children and families services.
• Previous fostering experience or transferrable skills from a relevant role.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work across the South Fostering area as required.
