Join the HOPE Team in Sheffield for an exciting locum opportunity as a Recovery Worker. This role offers a three-month placement with the possibility of extension. You will work within a recovery-focused service that emphasises Harm reduction, Ownership, Purpose, and Empowerment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance use.

What You Will Do

Manage a caseload, creating, implementing, and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans.

Facilitate individual progression from initial engagement through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.

Reduce substance-related harm by providing needle exchange services and other harm reduction interventions.

Collaborate with colleagues and key partner agencies to ensure optimal health and well-being outcomes.

Deliver high-quality training on substance use issues for internal staff and external partners.

Conduct community outreach through drop-ins, events, and engagement activities to promote service awareness.
Required Experience

Proven experience managing caseloads and developing/reviewing recovery plans.

Proficiency in S1 system for effective plan management and service delivery.

Experience in community engagement and collaboration with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
