What you will do:
- Serve as an authorised pharmacist in the hospital aseptic unit, ensuring the safe release of products prepared under Section 10 exemption.
- Participate in ward-based activities, including medicines reconciliation, patient reviews, clinical interventions, and processing discharges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-focused care in specialities such as general medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics.
- Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations and maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
Requirements:
- GPhC Registration is essential.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist within a UK NHS Pharmacy setting.
- NVQ or equivalent Pharmacist qualification.
- Prior experience working in aseptic services or an acute hospital environment is highly desirable.
