The Role – SEN Teacher
- Full-time, permanent position starting September 2025.
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons for students aged 5–19 with a range of needs including autism (ASC), SEMH, and MLD.
- Differentiate learning to meet individual needs and EHCP targets.
- Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development with a focus on SEN strategies.
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (essential).
- Experience teaching in SEN schools or with pupils with additional needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and EHCP processes.
- Patient, resilient, and passionate about SEN education.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to manage support staff effectively.
