A well-regarded and welcoming primary school in Stafford is looking to appoint a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 through to July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical classroom skills, build confidence, and make a real impact on young learners’ education and development.

About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum

• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, offering tailored academic support

• Assist with classroom organisation, routines, and behaviour management

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping meet their individual academic and emotional needs

• Help prepare learning materials and contribute to lesson planning and activities

• Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued

Who We're Looking For

• A recent or upcoming graduate (minimum 2:1) – degrees in Education, Psychology, or related subjects are particularly encouraged

• Someone with a genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development

• A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic

• Previous experience working with young people is a bonus but not essential

• Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
