The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication or emotional difficulties

Assist class teachers in modifying lessons to suit individual learning styles

Support children in building key life skills such as communication, confidence, and independence

Contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere through behaviour management and inclusive strategies

Track student progress and collaborate closely with the SENCo and wider staff team to deliver personalised interventions
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate graduate who:

Has (or is predicted) a 2:1 degree or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

Brings experience working with children or young people with SEN, whether in a school, care setting, or through volunteering

Is calm, patient, and empathetic, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Is serious about building a long-term career in education, mental health, or child development
