A friendly and supportive primary school in Coventry is looking for a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 through to July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the classroom and develop key skills ahead of a future in education.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in the daily life of the classroom by:

Assisting teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum
Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to offer targeted academic support
Supporting behaviour management and contributing to a positive, structured learning environment
Assisting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – both academically and emotionally
Helping to prepare teaching resources and support lesson planning and classroom activities
Creating an inclusive and nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported

Who We’re Looking For

A graduate (minimum 2:1) – particularly in Education, Psychology, or related subjects
Someone enthusiastic about working with children and helping them thrive
A reliable, proactive, and compassionate individual with a strong work ethic
Prior experience with young people or in a school setting is desirable but not essential
Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
