Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN in 1:1 and small group settings
- Deliver and assist with targeted interventions to support learning and behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement effective strategies
- Foster emotional wellbeing and confidence in young learners
- Modify classroom activities and resources to suit individual learning styles

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a caring, driven graduate who meets the following criteria:
- A minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related field
- Genuine interest in SEN, child development, and mental health support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g., in education, youth work, care, or tutoring) – desirable
- Aspiration to pursue further training or careers in education, psychology, or youth services
