Hospital Manager - 12-Month Maternity Cover in York, UK
Up to £61,800 per annum (DOE) Annually

We are looking for a skilled professional with a clinical qualification, ideally a RMN Nurse, to join our dynamic team. What you will do:
- Lead and manage the overall operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, tailored care and treatment
- Guide and support a multidisciplinary team to achieve Brainkind's strategic objectives
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory body requirements
- Actively market the service to prospective commissioners and referrers to develop business opportunities
- Lead and implement any necessary changes to align with business demands
- Provide professional leadership and management support, ensuring performance standards are met
- Manage location budgets, capital, and revenue
- Oversee recruitment, employment practices, and staff training initiatives
- Foster exceptional customer responsiveness among all stakeholders
- Develop and implement a business development plan for service growth
- Represent Brainkind at conferences and marketing events
- Manage on-call systems and out-of-hours team support
- Ensure service users are involved in their care plans and receive continuous reviews
- Maintain financial accounting systems for Brainkind and service users
- Uphold the safety and welfare needs of all individuals, meeting legislative standards
- Ensure environments and equipment meet safety standards and support independence for service users
- Conduct quality audits and work towards continuous service improvements
Requirements:
- Current live clinical qualification with PIN and no practice restrictions
- QCF (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards
- Strong understanding of statutory requirements, legislation, and quality outcomes
- Experience in managing high-quality residential services
- Ability to guide a multidisciplinary team towards positive outcomes
- Experience in performance management and staff development
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours as needed
