What you will do:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualised care programmes for acute/elderly patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Conduct assessments to determine occupational therapy needs and progress.
- Provide expert advice and education to patients and their families, helping them adapt to changes in their condition.
- Adapt rehabilitation and care plans to meet the evolving needs of patients, ensuring quality care at every turn.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK and NHS experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- HCPC registration in good standing.
- Acute medical care of the elderly, rehab, and rapid assessment skills are a must.
