Locum Independent Reviewing Officer in Stockton-on-Tees
Earning £34.37 hourly – Ongoing

Stockton Council is proud to have a well-established team of Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs) and Child Protection Conference Chairs. Unusually, we have an opportunity for a temporary IRO, initially with a 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a full-time role where you can make a substantial impact.

What you will do:

• Overseeing care planning and review processes for children in our care.

• Chairing Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences to ensure the best outcomes.

• Ensuring plans are child-centred, legally compliant, and tailored to each child’s unique needs and aspirations.

• Working closely alongside multi-agency professionals to improve the lived experiences of children and families.
